Audrey Tautou gives her a bright, careful intensity as she sends gifts, waits for secret meetings, and builds her days around a relationship she believes is about to become public. Loïc (Samuel Le Bihan) keeps holding to his marriage, and Angélique’s certainty starts to turn into fixation. Told first through her perspective and then through his, the film reshapes the same encounters into a very different story about obsession, misread signals, and the danger of seeing love where there may be none.
