The Naked Gun
ActionAdventureComedyCrime85 min
Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. takes over at Police Squad when a murder case threatens the unit with closure and pushes him into the kind of outsized trouble his father once handled. Liam Neeson is the new Drebin, following the family badge in a fresh story built around the Police Squad world, while Pamela Anderson and Paul Walter Hauser turn up among the people orbiting the investigation. Directed by Akiva Schaffer, this fourth Naked Gun film brings the franchise back with a murder plot, police-procedural send-up, and the same father-to-son handoff at the center of the joke.
