The Raid: Redemption

ActionAdventureCrimeThriller101 min

An elite SWAT team slips into a rundown Jakarta apartment block before dawn to arrest the drug lord who controls it, only to have their cover blown and every exit sealed. Iko Uwais is Rama, a rookie officer stranded deep inside the building as residents, gangsters, and hired killers turn the raid into a trap. Joe Taslim is part of the unit trying to hold the operation together, while Ray Sahetapy’s crime boss watches the assault from above. Most of the film unfolds in tight stairwells, narrow hallways, and bare concrete rooms as the officers try to move floor by floor and stay alive.
