ComedyDrama115 min

Joaquin Phoenix is John Callahan, a hard-drinking man whose life changes after a car accident leaves him paralyzed. On a rocky path to sobriety, he discovers the healing power of art, pushing his injured hands to draw off-color cartoons that mix blunt humor with controversy. Jonah Hill, Rooney Mara, and Jack Black co-star in the story of how Callahan’s drawing became central to his recovery and public life.
