The Entity

DramaHorrorMysteryThriller125 min

After a terrifying night in her Los Angeles home, single mother Carla Moran is raped by an invisible force that no one else can see, and the attacks continue as her family and doctors struggle to explain them. Barbara Hershey is Carla, trying to hold her household together while fear and skepticism close in around her. Ron Silver’s psychiatrist treats her account as the fallout of childhood trauma, not a supernatural assault. Inspired by a reported case, the film keeps Carla caught between clinical doubt and an unseen presence that invades the most ordinary parts of her life.
