The Captive

CrimeDramaMysteryThriller112 min

Eight years after young Cassandra vanishes from the back of her father’s truck, the loss still hangs over the family she left behind. Ryan Reynolds is Matthew, whose brief stop at a diner becomes the center of an unsolved abduction, while Mireille Enos’s Tina has spent years living with grief, suspicion, and a marriage that didn’t survive their daughter’s disappearance. When disturbing clues begin to point to Cassandra still being alive, detectives reopen the case and the search turns back to the day she was taken, and to the hidden lives that have grown around it.
