The Call

CrimeDramaHorrorThriller96 min

Veteran 911 operator Jordan Turner is still shaken after a call she mishandled ends in tragedy. When teenager Casey Welson (Abigail Breslin) is abducted and manages to call from the trunk of a moving car, Jordan has to guide her through each step while coordinating police across Los Angeles. Halle Berry's Jordan works from a headset and a blinking call center screen, trying to read scraps of sound, road clues, and a kidnapper's pattern before the line goes dead. The chase ties Jordan's professional instincts to an older wound she hasn't put behind her.
