The Polar Express

AnimationFamily100 min

Late on Christmas Eve, a boy who has begun to doubt Santa boards a mysterious train headed for the North Pole. Tom Hanks is the train’s conductor and several other figures along the way, while Nona Gaye voices a girl whose confidence in the trip steadies the younger passengers. As the ride barrels through snowy wilderness and toward a workshop full of elves, the film follows one child’s shaken belief through a holiday storybook world created with motion-capture animation.
