Abducted from Earth as a boy, Peter Quill is now a spacefaring outlaw whose theft of a mysterious orb puts him at the center of a manhunt led by Ronan the Accuser. Chris Pratt is Quill, a scavenger with a Walkman and a habit of talking his way through trouble, while Zoe Saldana joins the scramble as one of the dangerous strangers pulled into his orbit. As rival mercenaries, authorities, and other criminals close in, Quill’s stolen prize turns a loose crew of fugitives into an uneasy alliance moving through prison cells, spacecraft, and distant corners of the Marvel universe.
