The Bayou
ActionAdventureHorrorThriller87 min
Athena Strates is Kyle, a Houston graduate whose vacation unravels when a plane crash drops her and her friends into the Louisiana bayou. What looks like a remote stretch of swamp turns into a trap: the survivors are in the path of a pack of primordial, highly evolved alligators, their habitat contaminated by illegal chemicals and their territory fiercely defended. With Madalena Aragão among the stranded group, the film shifts from getaway to survival as wreckage sinks into the shallows and the bayou itself becomes part of the threat.
