Dark Journey

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaRomanceThrillerWar77 min

In neutral Stockholm during World War I, British double agent Madeleine Goddard moves between Allied and German circles while suspicion gathers around her. Vivien Leigh is Madeleine, whose covert work brings her into close contact with Conrad Veidt's Baron Karl von Marwitz, a German spy on the other side of the conflict. Their attraction threads romance into the espionage plot, as secret meetings, shifting identities, and wartime allegiances close in around them.
