The Gigolo
ComedyDramaRomance97 min
After he’s expelled from school, Fung scrambles to support his family when his mother’s back problems force her to give up the poultry business that keeps them afloat. Dominic Ho is Fung, a Hong Kong teen whose looks made him a campus idol before money troubles push him into a very different adult world. As he turns sudden attention into income, the film follows his move from poverty toward fame, threading sex, comedy, and family melodrama through a story about status, money, and the cost of becoming useful to everyone around him.
