Manhattan
ComedyDramaRomance96 min
Isaac Davis is a 42-year-old Manhattan television writer whose already tangled love life grows more complicated when, despite dating a 17-year-old, he falls for his best friend’s mistress. Woody Allen’s Isaac is a twice-divorced New Yorker forever talking his way around commitment, while Diane Keaton’s Mary is the woman who throws his uneasy routines further off balance. Mariel Hemingway is the teenager at the edge of the affair, and Meryl Streep appears as Isaac’s ex-wife in a story rooted in late-1970s New York romance, adultery, and self-mythology.
