The Truman Show

ComedyDramaSci-Fi103 min

Truman Burbank (Jim Carrey) lives a tidy life in a picture-perfect seaside town, selling insurance, chatting with neighbors, and moving through the same familiar routines until small glitches make him suspect that nothing around him is accidental. As Truman starts noticing patterns in the streets, on the radio, and at home, Laura Linney’s polished Meryl and Marlon (Noah Emmerich) become part of the unease rather than a refuge. Above it all, Ed Harris’s Christof shapes Truman’s world from behind the scenes, treating one man’s ordinary life as round-the-clock television.
