Leap Year

ComedyRomance100 min

After another anniversary passes without a proposal, Amy Adams is Anna Brady, a woman who heads to Dublin on Leap Day, planning to ask her boyfriend to marry her under an Irish tradition that gives women the chance to propose on February 29. Bad weather and a string of travel mishaps leave Anna stranded on the far side of Ireland, where she ends up relying on Matthew Goode’s Declan, a sharp-tongued local willing to help her reach the city for a price. Their trip cuts through pubs, country roads, and one increasingly complicated detour after another.
