Religulous

ComedyDocumentaryWar101 min

Commentator-comic Bill Maher travels from churches and synagogues to creation museums and religious attractions, questioning believers about what they believe and why. Taking a skeptical, often confrontational approach, Maher moves through Christianity, Judaism and Islam, pressing on subjects like evidence, the existence of Christ, Sabbath rules, homosexuality and violent Muslim extremism. Along the way, figures including Ted Haggard and Ken Ham face the same blunt line of inquiry, as the film follows Maher’s devil’s-advocate arguments across the U.S. and abroad.
