Alex in Wonderland

ComedyDrama110 min

Fresh off a first feature that everyone in Hollywood expects to be a hit, Donald Sutherland is Alex Morrison, a bohemian director with producers, projects, and expectations suddenly closing in from every side. As Alex moves through studio lunches, house hunting, family life, and trips through Hollywood and European film circles, ordinary moments keep spilling into elaborate fantasy sequences and cinematic daydreams. Ellen Burstyn is his wife, caught up in the same swirl of opportunity and indecision, while appearances from Federico Fellini and Jeanne Moreau place Alex’s creative block inside a movie world crowded with ambition, ego, and imagined possibilities.
