FBI agent Emily Byrne is declared dead after vanishing while hunting a Boston serial killer, then returns years later with no memory of what happened to her. Home is no refuge: her husband has rebuilt his life, her son barely knows her, and the case that consumed her is still unresolved. When a new murder carries her fingerprints, Emily becomes the prime suspect in a crime she cannot explain. As she tries to piece together the years she lost, she is pulled into a maze of buried evidence, fractured loyalties, and memories that may be warning signs as much as clues. Stana Katic leads a story where every answer opens another threat.
