The Green Butchers

ComedyDrama100 min

Two small-town butchers quit their humiliating job under an arrogant boss and open a shop of their own, hoping independence will finally put them ahead. Instead, Svend’s need to prove himself and Bjarne’s uncertainty leave the business floundering. Then a grisly accident turns into an unexpected success when their new meat becomes wildly popular, and the pair find themselves hiding a secret that keeps pulling them deeper into crime. As customers line up and suspicion grows, the shop’s fragile routine is further disrupted by the return of Bjarne’s intellectually disabled twin brother. Mads Mikkelsen and Nikolaj Lie Kaas play partners whose bad break becomes a steadily worse solution.
