In an emperor penguin colony deep in Antarctica, every penguin is supposed to win a mate with a signature heartsong. Mumble can’t sing at all. What he can do is tap-dance, a talent that makes him stand out for all the wrong reasons and turns him into an embarrassment in a community that treats being different as a problem. As food grows scarce and the colony worries over the disappearing fish, Mumble sets out beyond home to find the cause. His trip carries him across the ice, into unfamiliar groups of penguins, and toward a much bigger threat than anyone in the colony understands, with Elijah Wood voicing Mumble and Robin Williams appearing along the way.
