The Last Legion

ActionAdventureFantasyWar102 min

As the Western Roman Empire collapses, the boy emperor Romulus Augustus is seized after his father is killed and his throne is taken. His loyal bodyguard Aurelius escapes the massacre and sets out to free him, joined by the mysterious warrior Mira and the old mentor Ambrosinus. Their flight carries them from a prison fortress toward Britain, chasing a legend about a lost legion that may still answer Rome’s call. Along the way, the story mixes falling empires, battlefield pursuits, and myth, as Romulus searches for a way to survive and reclaim some fragment of his birthright. Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley are folded into this struggle as soldiers and advisers around the young ruler.
