CrimeDrama123 min

In 1970s South Boston, Irish mob boss James “Whitey” Bulger becomes an FBI informant, feeding agent John Connolly intel on a rival Mafia family while protecting his own turf. Johnny Depp is Bulger, watchful and tightly controlled, while Joel Edgerton’s Connolly is the childhood friend in law enforcement who helps broker the arrangement. With Bulger’s brother serving as a state senator, the story tracks how organized crime, politics, and FBI corruption begin to overlap.
