Le Trou
CrimeDramaThriller132 min
Claude Gaspard (Marc Michel) is transferred into a Paris prison cell where four inmates have already begun plotting an escape by digging through the concrete floor. As the men carve a route with a bedpost and inch toward the sewers, trust becomes as important as timing. Jean Keraudy is among the prisoners, and the film stays close to the details of confinement: shared meals, whispered planning, improvised tools, and the grinding work of breaking through stone. Based on a true prison break, it keeps the focus on the mechanics of the escape and the fragile alliances holding it together.
