In the 1976 Formula One season, a fierce rivalry pushes two drivers toward fame, danger, and a collision course with each other. Chris Hemsworth is James Hunt, the charismatic British star whose nightlife and swagger make him as visible off the track as on it. Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl), his Austrian rival, approaches the sport with discipline, precision, and little patience for showmanship. As the championship tightens, the film moves between the glamour of the racing circuit, the strain on their private lives, and the constant risk of a sport where one horrific crash can change everything.
