Bad Boys II
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeThriller146 min
Miami narcotics detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey trace a flood of Ecstasy to Cuban kingpin Johnny Tapia, whose operation is tied to a violent feud with Russian and Haitian mobsters. Martin Lawrence is Marcus, the more wary half of the duo, while Will Smith's Mike Lowrey brings a personal complication to the case: he's secretly involved with Marcus's sister Syd (Gabrielle Union), a DEA agent with her own stake in the investigation. Michael Bay sends the chase from Miami streets into raids, gunfights, and a widening hunt that strains the partners' friendship as much as their case.
