The Lost Daughter

Drama122 min

Alone on a seaside vacation, Olivia Colman’s Leda becomes preoccupied with Nina (Dakota Johnson), a young mother she watches with her daughter on a crowded beach. The family’s noisy, territorial presence unsettles her, and that fixation begins to stir memories of Leda’s own early years as a mother, with Jessie Buckley appearing as her younger self. What starts as quiet observation turns inward, as private choices and long-buried consequences surface against the heat, friction, and unease of the holiday setting.
