Grease

ComedyMusicalRomance110 min

After a summer romance, greaser Danny Zuko and new student Sandy are stunned to find themselves at the same 1958 high school, where their beachside chemistry looks very different in front of the T-Birds and Pink Ladies. John Travolta is Danny, all swagger and jukebox cool, opposite Olivia Newton-John's Sandy, whose arrival throws his carefully maintained image off balance. Around them, Stockard Channing's Rizzo and the rest of the clique turn school dances, pep rallies, gossip, and graduation into a teenage social battleground, with songs driving the flirtation, jealousy, and makeover drama at Rydell High.
