Brain on Fire

Drama89 min

Chloë Grace Moretz is Susannah Cahalan, an up-and-coming New York Post reporter whose life veers off course when she begins hearing voices and suffering seizures. Hospital visits pile up, doctors offer conflicting explanations, and Susannah’s behavior becomes harder for everyone around her to recognize as she searches for a diagnosis. The story stays close to her point of view, moving between the newsroom and the hospital as ordinary routines give way to confusion and fear. Thomas Mann is among the people trying to keep up as her condition turns increasingly hard to explain.
