Captain Jack Sparrow’s latest escape plan starts with a debt: Johnny Depp’s elusive pirate owes his soul to Davy Jones, the ghastly captain of the Flying Dutchman. To avoid eternal servitude at sea, Jack goes after the Dead Man’s Chest and the still-beating heart locked inside it, while Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann are pulled back into his path just as their own future is thrown into jeopardy. The chase stretches from prison cells to open water, with cursed bargains, a magic compass, and the Kraken turning every crossing into a fight for control of the sea.
