Soldier

Kurt Russell is Sergeant Todd, a career soldier raised from birth for combat and discarded when a genetically engineered replacement proves stronger. Left for dead on a trash-strewn planet, Todd is taken in by a small community of crash survivors whose quiet routines have nothing in common with military life. When the same new-model troops arrive to erase the colony, Todd is pushed back toward the only role he has ever known. Jason Scott Lee and Connie Nielsen co-star in a stripped-down future of engineered fighters, wrecked spacecraft, and a remote settlement caught in the crossfire.
