In Beijing, courier by day and tai chi standout by night, Chen Lin-Hu is a young fighter whose discipline is tested when pressure on his temple pushes him toward illegal matches. Tiger Hu Chen is Tiger, a martial artist rising through public competition before quick money opens the door to a different arena. Keanu Reeves’ Donaka Mark runs a private underground fight ring and sees Tiger as his next draw, while investigator Suen Jing-Si (Karen Mok) is closing in on the operation. The story moves between tournament bouts, hidden fights for wealthy spectators, and the cost that shift takes on Tiger’s training and standing.
