Beauty Shop

ComedyRomance105 min

After moving from Chicago to Atlanta with her daughter, Gina Norris is determined to build a life on her own terms. Queen Latifah is Gina, a talented hairdresser whose clashes with her over-the-top boss push her to open a salon of her own. But Kevin Bacon’s Jorge isn’t about to watch staff and clients walk out the door without a fight. As Gina tries to get her new shop off the ground, the movie turns the salon into a busy battleground of personalities, neighborhood loyalties, and small-business rivalry.
