Survival of the Dead
ComedyDramaHorrorThrillerWar90 min
A band of AWOL National Guardsmen heads for an island refuge off the North American coast, only to find a zombie outbreak tangled in a bitter family feud. Alan Van Sprang is Sarge Crockett, leading the scavenging soldiers into Plum Island, where one clan wants the undead put down and another refuses to give up on infected relatives they still hope can be cured. Directed by George A. Romero, the story keeps its focus on armed standoffs, uneasy truces, and a community trying to decide whether the walking dead are monsters to destroy or family members to protect.
