300: Rise of an Empire

ActionAdventureDramaWar102 min

As Persian forces bear down on Greece, general Themistocles tries to unite the city-states and take the fight to sea. Sullivan Stapleton is Themistocles, a military leader pushing for an alliance as much as a battlefield win, while Eva Green’s Artemisia commands the Persian navy as his fiercest opponent. Running alongside the events of 300, the story shifts from the land war to naval clashes, with Xerxes looming over the invasion and the action framed in the same heightened, blood-spattered style as the earlier film.
