Buffy the Vampire Slayer
ActionAdventureComedyFantasyHorror86 min
Buffy is a Valley Girl high school cheerleader whose biggest concerns are school and social life until a strange man tells her she’s been chosen to hunt vampires. Kristy Swanson is Buffy, thrown from pep rallies into graveyards and late-night fights, while Donald Sutherland’s mysterious mentor introduces her to the rules of the job. Luke Perry turns up as the school rebel at her side, and Rutger Hauer leads the undead threat with Paul Reubens as his slippery henchman. The film puts teen comedy, vampire lore, and high school attitude on the same track.
