Band of the Hand

ActionAdventureCrimeDrama109 min

In 1980s Florida, a Vietnam veteran in the Everglades turns a youth rehab program into survival training, pulling five young offenders out of Miami and remaking them into a tight unit aimed at the city’s drug trade. Stephen Lang is the severe mentor running them through the swamp, while Laurence Fishburne is among the recruits learning to function as a team instead of a gang. Once they return to Miami, their new discipline runs straight into the cocaine-era street economy, with Lauren Holly and James Remar appearing around a story built on vigilante action, crime-world pressure, and rough-edged group dynamics.
