Jim Caviezel is police officer John Sullivan, who discovers that a rare phenomenon lets him speak by amateur radio with his father (Dennis Quaid) 30 years in the past. John uses the connection to stop the death that has shadowed his family for decades, but the change ripples forward into the present, where a series of brutal murders begins to unfold. As the timeline shifts around him, John has to piece together what changed while working with his father across two eras to track the killer before more lives are rewritten.
