Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamilyFantasyMusical79 min
Tom and Jerry tag along with Charlie Bucket after he lands a Golden Ticket to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, turning the familiar trip into a chase to keep Wonka’s Everlasting Gobstopper away from a rival candy maker. Told through the cat-and-mouse duo’s point of view, the story folds their slapstick into Wonka’s world of odd inventions, musical numbers, and candy-room spectacle. JP Karliak and Jess Harnell are among the voices in this animated retelling, which threads Tom and Jerry’s usual near-misses and mayhem through Charlie’s visit to the factory.
