My Old Ass
ComedyDramaRomance89 min
On her 18th birthday, free-spirited Elliott comes face-to-face with an unexpected guide: her 39-year-old self, who appears during a mushroom trip with plenty to say about what should and shouldn’t happen next. Maisy Stella is the younger Elliott, heading into a summer shaped by family, new romance, and the sense that everything is starting to shift. Across from her, Aubrey Plaza gives Elliott’s future self a dry, knowing presence as the warnings start piling up. What begins as a surreal birthday encounter quickly forces Elliott to rethink the people around her and the choices in front of her.
