Jeff Beck: Still on the Run

Documentary87 min

Jeff Beck traces his path from homemade guitars in Wallington, Surrey, to the Yardbirds, the Jeff Beck Group, and a solo career that kept shifting shape. Beck appears in interviews at home and in his workshop, talking through music and hot rods, while Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, and Rod Stewart add their accounts of the players, bands, and turning points around him. The film follows Beck from his early days learning guitar with Page through the collaborations and stylistic turns that made him one of rock’s most influential guitarists.
