The Lazarus Effect
HorrorMysterySci-FiThriller83 min
Medical researcher Frank and his fiancée Zoe lead a university team that discovers a way to bring the dead back to life, first proving it with an unsanctioned experiment on a lifeless animal before their dean shuts the project down. Mark Duplass is Frank, pushing to recreate the procedure after a lab accident turns fatal, and Olivia Wilde's Zoe is the colleague he refuses to let go. As the team presses ahead in secret, the resurrection works — but Zoe returns changed, and the breakthrough they chased starts to look less like a cure than something they don't understand.
