Shane
DramaWestern118 min
A drifting gunfighter named Shane arrives in 1889 Wyoming hoping to leave violence behind, only to find a simmering fight over land between homesteaders and a cattle baron. Alan Ladd is the quiet stranger who becomes part of the Starrett household, where Van Heflin’s Joe Starrett is holding firm against men trying to push settlers off their claims. As intimidation gives way to open conflict, Shane’s past and his skill with a gun start to matter more than anyone in the family wanted.
