On the Rocks

ComedyDramaRomance97 min

Rashida Jones is a young New York mother whose sudden doubts about her marriage send her into an uneasy alliance with her larger-than-life father. Bill Murray’s globe-trotting bon vivant turns suspicion into a series of impromptu stakeouts, late-night drives, and pointed conversations about men, marriage, and the stories families tell themselves. Marlon Wayans is the often-absent husband at the center of it all, as Sofia Coppola keeps the focus on the shifting pull between father and daughter as they circle a question neither of them can quite answer alone.
