The Lovebirds

ActionAdventureComedyCrimeMysteryRomanceThriller87 min

A couple already close to breaking up are suddenly linked to a murder, sending them into an all-night scramble to clear their names before the police catch up. Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani are sharp, frazzled partners whose relationship problems keep colliding with the case as each clue pushes them deeper into a string of increasingly strange encounters. Part runaway farce and part whodunit, the story follows them from one bad decision to the next as they try to figure out who the killer is, why they were pulled into it, and whether their relationship can survive the night.
