Super Size Me
Documentary100 min
Morgan Spurlock turns himself into the test subject in a monthlong fast-food experiment: three McDonald’s meals a day, no exercise, and one rule that if he’s offered a super-size, he has to take it. As Spurlock records the changes in his weight, energy, and mood, regular checkups from doctors track what the diet is doing to his body. The film follows the stunt day by day while widening out to look at American eating habits, obesity, and the corporate reach of the fast-food industry.
