Mud
ActionAdventureDrama130 min
Two teenage boys stumble on a fugitive hiding on an island in the Mississippi River and agree to help him reunite with the woman he loves before an armed family catches up to him. Matthew McConaughey is Mud, a wary drifter living out of a boat tangled in the trees, while Tye Sheridan and Jacob Lofland are the boys pulled into his plan. Reese Witherspoon appears as the woman he’s waiting for, and what starts as a secret river adventure edges into bounty hunters, family trouble, and the boys’ first hard look at the adult world.
