The Butterfly's Dream
DramaRomance138 min
In 1940s Turkey, two young poets with tuberculosis struggle to publish their work and hold on to ordinary life as war, poverty, and hard labor close in around them. Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Mert Fırat are the friends at the center, sharing a literary dream even as rivalry enters the picture when they fall for the same woman. Their lives move between small-town streets, hospital wards, and the shadow of the mines, where illness and circumstance keep pressing against youth, ambition, and romance.
