Grumpy Old Men

ComedyDramaRomance103 min

For decades, next-door neighbors John and Max have kept a feud alive with daily insults, petty revenge, and competition on the ice. Jack Lemmon’s John and Walter Matthau’s Max were once friends, and their long history hangs over every argument. When a lively widow (Ann-Margret) moves in nearby around the winter holidays, both men decide to pursue her, turning their stale routine into a fresh round of one-upmanship. The story follows their rivalry through ice-fishing trips, family tension, and the uneasy affection buried under years of bad blood.
