Adventureland
ComedyDramaRomance107 min
After his parents pull the funding for his post-grad trip to Europe, James Brennan spends the summer of 1987 taking the only job he can get at a shabby local amusement park. Jesse Eisenberg is James, a recent college grad whose plans suddenly collapse into sticky midway shifts and cranky customers. At Adventureland, he falls in with a loose crew of co-workers, including Em (Kristen Stewart), and the dead-end job starts to reshape his summer. Between rigged games, cheap prizes, and a relationship that gets complicated fast, the park becomes the place where James is forced to grow up.
