Bring It on: Fight to the Finish

Comedy102 min

When her mother remarries, Christina Milian is Lina Cruz, an East L.A. cheerleader suddenly transplanted to an elite Malibu prep school where the social rules are tighter than the uniforms. After varsity captain Avery (Vanessa Born) freezes her out, Lina reconnects with her old friends and takes charge of the school’s overlooked junior varsity squad, the Sea Lions. As Lina tries to turn the team into contenders, the film leans into fish-out-of-water comedy, school rivalry and cheer routines built around the contrast between her old neighborhood and her glossy new campus, with Gabrielle Dennis alongside her from home.
